Position Overview

As the Social Media Specialist at Candlefox, you will be responsible for the strategic planning, campaign management,community management and administration of all Candlefox’s social media channels, including the delivery of relevant reports and data insights.

To be successful in this role, must have a strong understanding of website technology, social media platforms and digital analytics. You will need to be a strong communicator that holds solid organisational and administration skills, an excellent content and copywriter and have a keen eye for detail, so pop an emoji in your application to prove just how keen that eye is.

What You'll Do

  • Strategic content creation and execution on all digital channels

  • Analysis and review of all activities to optimise all campaigns on all channels

  • Work closely with the content team on creative and the sales team on lead targets, to align strategies, ideas and execution across paid and organic social activity (both B2C and B2B)

  • Setup of platforms and campaigns to execute, analyse, optimise and report on paid social reach, to ultimately drive awareness, engagement, traffic and leads

  • Monitor and engage with consumers across the various social channels

  • Communicate lead targets and manage paid campaigns alongside external contractors

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Ideally one to two years’ experience in a digital environment, with an understanding of basic social media marketing concepts and strategies

  • A qualification in digital marketing/social/PR is desirable

  • Proficient in social media management tools such as Facebook Business Manager, Facebook Ads Manager and Linkedin Campaign Manager, data and analytics tools such as Google Analytics and content management system Wordpress

  • Experience in digital and social marketing, including strategic and creative development, media strategy, community management and content production

  • Strong knowledge of social media marketing techniques and the ability to monitor, analyse and test campaigns for ultimate optimisation

  • Basic design skills using Adobe Creative Suite

  • Ability to manage relevant allocated budgets

  • Ability to be self-motivated and take initiative to grow your industry knowledge by keeping up-to-date with the latest digital trends within the social media scope

About The Role

The Account Manager will maintain and grow relationships with Candlefox’s key clients. Reporting into the Head of Partnerships, the Account Manager will be expected to retain existing business, while developing strategic growth opportunities within our client portfolio. The role encompasses extensive collaboration with our Product, Marketing, Content and Data business units.

Responsibilities

  • You will be an advocate of the Candlefox brand and our suite of products and service

  • Meet assigned revenue and growth targets

  • Proactively manage customer satisfaction and service delivery by identifying customer needs

  • Manage the smooth on-boarding of new clients

  • Build and maintain long term client relationships

  • Process optimisation and strategic product development with multiple internal functions (e.g. product, marketing, data) to improve our product and service offering

  • Development and execution of account plans and strategies to retain clients and increase revenue within our client portfolio

  • Manage reporting and client facing analytics needs

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3-year undergraduate Bachelor Degree

  • Proven track record in a client facing role, preferably in Tech/Advertising/Marketing/SaaS

  • Strong attention to detail and a ‘hands-on’ approach to client relationship management

  • Ability to analyse, interpret and report on complex data sets

  • Sound knowledge and keen interest in online marketing and advertising

  • Sophisticated commercial acumen

  • Strong presentation skills and natural relationship builder

You will make outbound calls to people who have enquired on one of our websites to discover where they are in the decision-making process.
